don't really have high hopes for the A's in all honesty. the bats have been dead and the starters have been inconsistent all season long. maybe they'll finally wake up at the right time

The A's started hitting much better yesterday and today, so that's a good sign. Giolito is really good, but they lack the depth at sp Houston has even with Verlander out. None of this means anything once game 1 starts.

I'll say Sox in 3, but we are swinging the bats so poorly lately that I wouldn't be shocked if they score like 3 runs in 2 games and are done. But think they are the better team in most areas.

I have similar fears. It would be nice if Crochet isn't needed much early and could maybe pitch 2 innings in game 3, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Renteria is probably going to screw it up regardless.

I think for sure the series is going three games. It's hard to tell who will win that third game, with the starting pitchers being unknown still.

So I have to give it to the Sox in 3 because their lineup is so dangerous.
