You can't have everything right away. They have a bigger d-man, but nobody wants him to play. Talented d-men with size aren't easily available.

Building a team is as methodical as rebuilding one. It's step by step. In 2011, the Kings had plenty of size. What didn't they have? Enough talent. You get what you can get when you can get it, and then you pretty much just have to wait for the next moment to get more. Then you also have to hope that by then you didn't lose something else along the way.

Biggest frustration of this team is failures to get pucks deep, they seem to always not put enough behind them or let them get tipped. And turnovers in the neutral zone.

The weakest part of this team is its difficulty between the top of the circles and the blueline in both zones.

That's just hard-nosed, bear down effort. Not a strong suit of this roster. Say what you will about guys like Lewis and Clifford, but those pucks got out and deep in at the bluelines.
