In a world where we're playing Michael Amadio, I'd gladly put in Clifford instead. The problem the last few years with Clifford and Lewis is that either one should have been our "worst" player, just a steady, physical veteran you can count on to make the smart play even if there's no offensive upside. However, Clifford and Lewis weren't even our worst players, so they stuck out like a sore thumb. Would anyone be mad if Clifford was in for, say, Wagner or Amadio? I think not.
