Rubstov has really good shutdown potential. I think he may have been over coached at this point to ever be an offensive threat but I still see 3c potential

I’m voting for the shiny new toy. Because I wants to.

I've got Desnoyers > Kase > Rubtsov

Desnoyers is tough, b/c it's a small sample, but while his scoring was expected to increase on Halifax, no one expected him to lap his teammates and be leading the Q in ES points. But it's not just that he's scoring, his time on bottom six duties and his intangibles means you have a solid defensive forechecker who has shown real offensive skills.

That to me gives him an edge over a much older Kase, who has more skill than Desnoyers but can't approach his all around game.

Rubtsov pulls up the rear b/c while he's playing better, he's 22 and should be stepping up at this point in his career. He's past the "potential" point and has to produce the next two seasons or he'll soon be a one-dimensional 24 year old 4th line center.
