Formenton and Pinto are in the NHL right now and should never look back IMO. Formenton is going to be a luxury 3rd line player, ala Connor Brown. His speed is elite and it creates big problems for the opposition. His presence on the ice alone means the other team can't go "all in" on offense, there's always a D-man back looking/trying to prevent him to go on a breakaway, it's kinda funny. Our PK with guys like Forms, Connor Brown and Shane Pinto is going to be hell. Pinto is a Bergeron type player. The question is how much % good of Patrice can he be? I'd say his floor is a bigger Pageau/Danault (better shot than Danault), which is very appealing. They are better skaters though
Sogaard, Sokolov, Crookshank, Greig = future NHLers. Remains to be seen how good they can become but they are pretty good prospects, much better than the very modest hype you've heard from internet sources.
Abramov and Thomson will play in the NHL but the question is how many games? They have pretty good skill/talent but their overall games will never be perfect so that could play against them. It means that to be able to stay in the league, they will need to bring something to the table every game and in their case, it's scoring/offense/puck movement
Kelly, Kastelic, Reinhardt should at least get a cup of coffee somewhere. We can probably add Curtis Douglas to that small group of potential 4th liners. They play the "right way"
I can't see Logan Brown not being a NHLer too. He turned 23 y/o two months ago but has ONLY played 118 pro games over the course of 3 seasons (93 in AHL + 25 in NHL, + 4 NHL GP in 2017-18)... It's a gigantic reason as to why he isn't in the NHL yet. It's like he missed more than a FULL season of development...
