A handful of ECHL teams are scheduled to start play mid-December. The rest of the ECHL teams not voluntarily dormant will begin play in January.

Jacksonville, is an unofficial affiliation under ECHL Rules due to COVID regulations due to Atlanta, among 13 others, opting out. those are allowed as Wichita has with the Marlies/Growlers, as Newfoundland is on hiatus as well, as the Thunder's primary affiliation is Edmonton....

it's like a working agreement affiliation since the ECHL hasn't gotten to a 1 to 1 affiliation like the AHL requires an affiliation
