10yrs is a long time in todays world.

I mean it would be hard not to think that way.

Twins 2002-2004 (3), 2006, 2009, 2010, 2019
Yankees 1995-2007 (13), 2009-2012 (4), 2017, 2018, 2019

I don't get where you see the Yankees resting on past success is all.
My original response wasn't even to you to begin with so thanks for taking it out of context. I was talking about the last time they won a WS which was 10yrs ago which in the sports world for a team like the Yankees is a long time.

Which in the sports FANS eyes, has many current gen fans having watched it, thus why their fans like the Yankees. It's not like the Habs at all - which you compared it to.

I'd like to thank God for the opportunity in getting us here. With his strength, all things are possible.
I'd also like to thank the New York Yankees. Without their continued love and support over these past postseasons, we would never have had the chance to reach this milestone.

Been hearing quite a few rumors of Yankees fans threatening to kill and rape family members of the Twins bullpen from last nights game. I guess there were a lot of people escorted out in the later innings. Stay classy New York.

On the bright side, the 4th inning was markedly better than the 3rd.

The year that the Twins beat the Yankees in the postseason will also be the year that the Vikings win the Superbowl and the Wild win the Cup. That's how tilted the earth will be.....

Rocco let his bullpen throw away 2 games without Rogers, Romo, May, or Graterol ever throwing a meaningful pitch. Making your weakness the focal point of your gameplan seems like an interesting idea.
