I knew it was over as soon as we punted with 2:45 left. Should have just kept it in Wilson’s hands.
Best to at least go down with the ball in your best players hands. Carroll no longer has the LOB D out there to get the ball back.

Packers lucked one out

They’ve done that on a few other occasions this season. You need some luck along the way regardless of how good a team you have.

I’m not impressed with their body of work this year. Credit to them though, they are going to the NFC Champ game. Can’t take that away from them.

Had to have a 3rd down call that at least gave them a shot to go for it on 4th down. Giving up that sack was killer. Along with the drop by Turner. Can’t drop a pass like that.

It was 4th and 11 so tough but not unrealistic either. The Seahawks defense was also suspect almost all night and Rodgers is on the other side. Let Wilson try to get you the 11.

Seahawks were stopping the Packers most of the 2nd half, and then had them in 3rd down twice. Punting was not a bad call.

No clue, they should’ve extended and gone for it on 4th down.
No guarantee that they convert.

But better to give Wilson every snap possible.

punting is old school thinking, cause they had all of their timeouts plus the 2 minute warning. But their D didn’t hold. Ain’t the Legion of Boom D out there anymore.

True but when you have Rodgers you are going to let him throw it to try to convert. They aren’t a team that is just going to run it 3 times.

The last that I saw, the Packers were 9 of 12 on third downs. That is the opposite of the rest of the season.

they rolled the dice, didn’t get the break this time. Could’ve went either way.

That is really funny!

Ever hear of the replacement refs game where GB intercepted on the last play of the game and it was called a Seattle TD?

Did you see the first quarter fumble when the refs gave the ball back to Seattle?

The replacement refs made the correct call in that game. It’s pretty obvious.

In what world did the Packers luck one out? They were ahead the entire game and got the huge lead. That forces the other team to be perfect the rest of the game, which is difficult thing to do.

If you want to win a football game try actually showing up for both halves of it. It worked during the regular season but that stuff won't fly on the road in the playoffs.

Did he probably get more yardage than he should've been given on the call? Yes. Did he also probably make it and this is a controversy because Fox's yellow line was total shit? Yes.

Seattle has been for a very long time very stubborn when it comes to their play calling. Will always begin by trying to establish the run, even if they get nothing out of it and they end up with a couple of 3 and outs to begin the game. That can still work out in the end so long as the Defence is preventing the opposition from scoring. But, that has not been happening. Thus, they end up down 2 scores at the half, like against SF and GB in 2 of the last 3 weeks. They went onto score 3 consecutive TDs coming out of the half, but on the 4th possession when they needed another TD, they couldn't get it done.

You give yourself basically no margin for error if you get down early. Need to score on every possession and need the D to hold. Could not afford both the Turner drop and Hollister not doing a good enough job in pass protection on that series. 1 can happen, but not both.

Fail Mary, Fail Mikey! Try reading the Wikipedia page about the Fail Mary game.

One of the real NFL refs said that in his years of service, he never saw a simultaneous possession. That was Walt Anderson or Ed Hoculi.

The NFL was just trying to cover their butt after hiring incompetent replacement refs who actually changed the outcome of an NFL game on nationwide TV. It was a black eye for the NFL and forced them to settle with the real on field officials.
