I think you are overreacting over a small twitter clip. He is a good skater but it is definately an area he has to work on especially his explosion.
we didn't watch the same player.... I really don't see the lack of explosion, actually you can debate that he has incredible explosion..

The way he just burst for his speed or his shot proves he is not lacking explosiveness...

Suzuki-Poehling-Caufield could be amazing.

Or you make duo, KK/ Suzuki and Poehling/Caufield.
I know this is not popular around here but I believe Suzuki will develop as a center. I know it seems unthinkable with Domi, Danault, Kotkaniemi, Poehling but Suzuki is so smart defensively reliable and with great natural instincts (Also right handed). I think Domi might be moved back to wing eventually. That's just me, though and it will 100% not happen next year. But it seems like Domi kamikaze style is more suited as a winger.

Kotkaniemi-Poehling-Danault seems like a pretty solid center line already, with every guy strong defensively and able to withstand physical play vs bigger centers. You would be left with a ton of talent on the wings, namely Drouin, Domi, Suzuki, Caufield, Gallagher, Lehkonen, Tatar, Byron, Shaw, Ylonen, Ikonen, etc. That is quite the offensive depth, and the best thing is some of the older guys (Byron, Tatar, Shaw) will leave and we'll be able to easily replace them from within.

Of course until Poehling is ready full time I think we'll roll with Domi-Kotkaniemi-Danault at C

I can't attend. I have a feeling the Habs camp will be more upbeat than the Bruins, who will e an oldtimers reunion.

This is why they want to wait for the end of the week. Because if they decide he goes back to college, they don't sign him.

If he opts not to go to Wisconsin, then he will come out of this camp with a contract.

Then the options are: Montreal, Laval, or OHL.
I understand that i was more messing about his budding bromance with kk :sarcasm:

Is Laval actually an option?
