I will make a thread everyday until we have determined the top 30 prospects according to Leaf fans on HFBoards for I think my 10th straight year. The criteria for a prospect will be loosely based on Calder eligibility. There may be a couple that slip through the cracks the first few posts because I am not perfect. Also please let me know if I have someone listed that is no longer with us, or any omissions. Comprehensive prospect lists are a little harder to find than you'd think this time of year.

Rankings:

1. Rasmus Sandin -- 68.3%
2. Timothy Liljegren -- 87.4%
3. Jeremy Bracco -- 60.7%
4. Nicholas Robertson -- 40.5%
5. Trevor Moore -- 32.9%
6. Ilya Mikheyev -- 24%
7. Joseph Woll -- 32.8%
8.

Korshkov getting very little love is odd. He played well for the Marlies in his limited stint - and has the pro body and style that will make him a sure-fire NHL'er. I guess many people don't see the upside in him? He should easily be able to fill a Hyman style role on this team moving forward. Hopefully he stays in the AHL this year to dominate and then get a call-up as the season goes on.

My next 5. Starting to get real tight and all pure projection at this point.

And when you look at Brazeau’s U20 season like Bracco’s, he has less points in more games.

But no one will deny Brazeau’s ability. It’s his skating. It’s a major concern

Less points in more games... On a shittier team.... ;)

U20 seasons:
Bracco:

Brazeau

Edit: I agree... Skating is the only concern (and whether he can think at a higher speed once he is quicker)... All of our prospects have thier flaws, though...

One great season is not enough for me to vote Scott right behind Woll. I'd sandwich Kokkonen and SDA in between them.

Goaltenders are unpredictable but Woll has a few seasons of good to great, whereas Scott just blew up in his final CHL season.

Who knows how they turn out but I also feel a little more confident to say that Woll has a slightly better chance of making it.
