Should have been a yellow...full stamp on the hand of the keeper.

Sweden have a very potent counterattack; the Netherlands need to be a bit more pragmatic today.

Pace of play isn't great compared to last night's match. Going to be interesting to see if tonight's winner can match/survive USA's ruthless tempo.

9 fouls by Sweden already (and the worst one wasn't even called!) they're playing a very physical, suffocating game. It's certainly knocking the Dutch off their style a bit.

Surprised Miedema didn't get called there though; nice to see a little fightback...they'll need it.

No. It shouldn’t have been. It was a reach to play the ball. Just a common foul.

Netherlands finally looking to have some spark. Maybe saving it for the 2nd half like last game? Dangerous if so.
    Clearly not.

Is Hurtig the one replacing Rolfö in this game? She never seems to be able to create much when they pass her the ball.

    yes

Lavelle plays locally too so when she returns back from the WWC I will go visit and try to get something autographed. The players are usually pretty good about autographing items after the game.

Just watched a middle aged English woman with a black eye tell a Finnish(?) TV crew in Brooklyn that the refs were "****ing ****e" last night. Women's football has made it.
