I'd say that the most frustrating thing watching that game was that only Hayward really seems improved from last year. Tatum was solid, but is still taking some terrible long 2s. Brown got in foul trouble super early, so he never really got into the game. There's no bench scoring, which is where you need to take advantage of Philly. No one except Tatum could hit any 3s. They're still a bad free throw shooting team.
The most annoying thing might have been that it felt like they were still doing the one-on-one style offense that killed them last year.
Of course, it's Game 1 of 82, and Philly is one of the best teams in the league, so it's hard to say whether it's just one game against a good team or a sign of things to come.
