Yeah...it's puzzling given his production rate that he wouldn't have been re-drafted last year. He seems to be very prolific PP QB, would think most teams would like guys like that.

Like Danil Savunov's uptick in production in tier 2 Russian VHL. 5-8-13 in 19GP after having 15 points in 45GP last year. Is there any scouting report on him?

Savunov is a very lean 5'10 150lbs who wasn't listed on any scouting lists...some remote service (Draftin Europe) had him as the #66 ranked Euro skater.

Seems like again a stab based on his age + league played + production. He was right behind guys like Denisenko, Morozov, and Podkolzin. He has out produced Podkolzin so far this year. A guy who plays a full year in their version of the AHL at 18 is good value in the 6th round. He moved from a weak VHL team (bottom third) to one of the strongest.

Daryin is older and still stuck in Russian Junior, yet they took him in the 4th round, so I don't know what that's about. His junior stats weren't that great at that point either. His team did win the championship so I assume he caught someone's eye. That team had 9 NHL picks on it.

Great week for Coyotes prospects.

Jenik registered a 4pt game (1g 3a) (and 13pts over his last 5 games on a bad Hamilton team) and John Farinacci has had early success on Team Crimson 3gp 2g 3a 5pts

and congratulations to Ivan Prosvetov who pitched a shutout in his 1st ECHL game for Rapid City.

My biggest surprise of the year is Michael Callahan (Providence) who is a PPG 10gp 2g 8a 10pts Dman so far this season for the high flying Friars.
