I still don't get why they arent doing a home and home with Chicago in Europe. Seems pointless to fly over there for one game...and really unfair that we are the only team to lose a home game. I also dont like that they come back from Europe...play one game home...then have to fly out to Western Canada.

I like the west coast trip being over Christmas/New Years week.

Seem to be way less 1pm starts this year. Not sure why that was a thing last year...guess they didnt get the result they wanted.

At least there a lot of Saturday night games instead of all Saturday 1pm games this year. They got REALLY old last year. Theyre fun once in a while, but not all year long.

I counted 13 B2Bs. 26 games. 32% of the schedule.

I think there's 3 or 4 3-in-4's in there as well. One of them includes 3 home games, which is something they don't usually like to ask of season ticket holders, but it doesn't happen that often and it is a weekend. Backup goaltender is very important.

Single game tickets went on sale Sept. 11 for last season. I would imagine a comparable date for this season.

I tend to think the opposite. I can get a lot of things done Saturday morning and afternoon and still go to the games. When I go to Saturday afternoon games my day is shot. I don’t usually feel like doing anything of any consequence after going to a Flyers game.

Done with the Pacific time zone in the first week in January.

Only two road games outside of the Eastern time zone in February-April (Dallas and Nashville).

One of their better looking schedules in recent years, IMO.

Playing Carolina and NJ more than 4 times a year is the opposite of excitement.

The first game at MSG isn't until March 1.

The first game against Nashville isn't until March 21.

The only visit to Buffalo is the season finale.

New Year's Eve in LA and then a flight to Vegas. Let the Coatesy jokes begin.

Black Friday game is at 4 pm.

The Flyers are done with the Leafs in early December.

Micah Blake McCurdy puts together Tired/Rested games for each year. We play 12 games tired where the other team is rested and only 4 vice versa, worst differential in the league.

Playing Carolina and NJ more than 4 times a year is the opposite of excitement.

Nj isn't as boring as they used to be. And playing teams 8 times a year grows more of a hatred for each other which would make games more entertaining to watch.
