Taco is Love, Taco is Life
Figured it'd be wise to have a separate discussion on the topic and related fallout here.. though mods can delete if they find it unnecessary
So we get Vancouver's pick or not? Probably not because they "missed" playoffs right?
Ridiculous overreaction.
The players fly on private jets.
Just play the games with no crowds.
I suspect they also fear the publicity.it’s about the players. One guy gets it like in the NBA, you have to quarantine that entire team and staff for 14 days. You can’t finish a season like that.

That makes perfect sense, but it seems like you could get as far along as you can before that point (if it even happens).
About the only thing I can tell that isnt cancelled right now is March Madness, but I imagine the pressure will build on the NCAA now.
Duke just withdrew from it, suspended their schools athletics. I would be stunned if we get to next thursday without anything getting suspended
WOW!
Whelp, that's that then.
Right call, even if this sucks, but just sending my best wishes to fellow Devils fans around the globe. Stay safe.
Yeah its definitely something me and many people living in Nordic countries take for granted, cause we simply havent experienced anything else. Still, if things get real bad real quick, free healthcare is gonna end up costing countries a looot. Obviously its still just money and keeping the death count as low as possible is the only thing that matters, but what this does to the economy of especially smaller European countries definitely raises some questions. Here's just hoping this will all just settle down in the upcoming weeks and months.Oh how I wish I was in Finland right now. Or, you know, any country with national health care.
Yeah man, I cant imagine things will look better in a weeks time or that public pressure will calm down. That tournament is not happening next week, maybe May Madness.

We have conducted something like 11,000 tests total to date. South Korea is running 10,000+ tests a day...We are woefully unprepared.Things are going to be catastrophically bad inside of 10 days.
What are sports stations gonna do with nothing to show? There's maybe 2 or 3 days in the whole year with no sporting events at all, which is manageable through Top 10s and stuff like that, but this might go on for a couple months.
Time for the PBA to hit the spotlight.
