There has to be a better plan than ice this lineup and add 3-4 rookies next year. Those poor kids (Vilardi, JAD, Bjornfot, and Anderson according to Faux) will have their confidence completely destroyed by Christmas. Not to mention Peterson...he picked a bad year to be a Kings goalie!

Or they're so young they don't know they're supposed to be less confident. The narrative will depend on the result, as it usually does.

But the roster for Oct is a ways ahead. It's a wait and see on what they do. They signed Hutton when Forbort wasn't going to start the year, so, they hardly throw young players in there. Grundstrom and Luff going up and down, back and forth, barely playing when they do. We'll know what they're thinking by the contracts they hand out. They do have to fill out 2 rosters, and they're not going to go with 12 ATO guys in Ontario.

Just like with trading all the old vets on the team, it's a process. The opening night roster is 8 months away. We'll see.
