Does Roberts really count though? I believe he was born on a US military base.
Why wouldn't it count? Okinawa is not ours. We don't own the world.

Wouldn’t a military base be US soil? I wasn’t really suggesting anything else. Why wouldn't it count? Okinawa is not ours. We don't own the world.
They aren't from what I understand. A brief internet search seems to confirm that.Wouldn’t a military base be US soil? I wasn’t really suggesting anything else.
I have watched it this year. imho he focused on the three NY teams.
More like modern day miracle
Pretty much.
I don't even think it's possible in the NHL anymore....wasn't the Joe the last of the un-sponsored arenas?
Madison Square Garden?
Yep, I think that might be the last one. Forgot about MSG. Looking at the other ones, Gila River in Arizona might be another one, since it's named after a tribe and not a company.
So, basically, if the Rangers and Coyotes ever meet in the Cup finals, there's our one and only sponsor-free matchup.
Gila River is a casino.
Madison Square Garden?
Right, but that casino is run by native americans, no?
I figured that set the naming rights apart from the traditional big-business sponsorship we see nearly everywhere else.
The Al's best 5 are certainly much better than the Nl's. The middle and bottom teams favor the Nl.The AL went 144-156 against the NL. So all this talk about the AL being far superior is fake news.
