In Ken Burns' Baseball, he focused on 2 franchises - the Red Sox and Dodgers

Here in Boston, we enjoyed the season of 108 wins but we wanted to see success in October. What the Red Sox have done on the road so far in the postseason is astonishing. They are 2-2 at home and 5-0 on the road.

It is going to be cold in Boston Tuesday night as they are projecting a temp of 42 at game time

This is a very intriguing series.

It’s a rare matchup- these teams last faced off in the Fall Classic in 1916, a year before the NHL was formed. (Came close a few times- 1949, 1978, 2008, 2013)

You got two classic and iconic stadiums- Fenway and Dodger Stadium.

One team trying to put the cherry on top of an all time season, another trying to find redemption from last year.

An LA lineup that can stack up well up with Boston (run differential, team HR’s, runs).

Starting staffs seem even, two much maligned bullpens peaking at the right time.

All Might thinks this series will be a mismatch- I have to disagree.

I think the Dodgers have a shot to win this series

Roberts would never do this, but I would start Kershaw game 3. Try to steal a game at Fenway and have Kershaw starting what is the normally the pivotal game of the series. They have the pitching depth to do so.

Red Sox made the Astros pitching look like a joke. Dodgers have a worse rotation and just as good offense as Houston. Boston in 4

I disagree. The Dodger pitching staff is better built to give Boston fits than Milwaukee’s

Maeda? Have you even watched the Dodgers at all this year? He hasn’t started a game in months. He works out of the bullpen.
Oops I meant to say Ryu. Even then, I think it makes no difference. Astros have a way better rotation.
