Toukki Toussaint is making his debut today also. He has really started living up to his potential the last calendar year or so because for awhile after the trade he struggled.

It probably was but Stewart had wasted a ton of money right before this trade with the Yasmany Tomas signing and the bizarre Yoan Lopez signing, both moves costing Arizona tons of $.

I feel those were also agreed upon by ownership.

Don't get me wrong, Stew was s bad, bad gm, but I think the whole Dbacks org was bad at that time. It wasn't a solo effort.

He doesn't draw walks, he can't play defense, he can't run the bases, he doesn't hit for average...

I think he was a negative WAR player even with the 30 homers or whatever it was.
