I know but he just doesn't look comfortable in net when comparing him to Oettinger. Constantly out of position it feels like

The speed of the pro-game ( or even of a prospects tournament with good prospects ) seems way too fast for Point to handle imho. He ain't the only one and its not just goalies who struggle with it but yeah sucks.

Yeah the d did give up the chances but point was way to deep in his net and barely moving , sometimes you need your goalie to make a couple of those saves and otter probably would have IMO.

Not entirely sure but he's not even on the roster so he's not a scratch either

He's not on the traverse roster. The team only has two replacement players that have not played yet . One forward and one defenseman . Diego Cuglietta and Jarret Tyszka .

Nill seemed to think Kivantra had a good shot at making the team when he signed him. At 23, he probably should be on the team or a career AHL guy, and we should know soon. Seems to be following the Janmark method of making it to the NHL. If he does, let's hope he also scores on his first NHL shot!
