Maybe more assists depending on how his linemates do. I'm set on that goal total though unless he finds a way to release his shot in less than 10 seconds

I somehow expected too much from Ritchie when asking for 9 points. He ended up with 4 goals and 2 assists

I mean it's what he had to do with the roster he had . I don't think you can implement an offensive system with just what the Stars currently have . The roster isn't build for uptempo and offensive. The top6 guys and the 1-3 defenseman can do it but the rest would really struggle.

I know but we still had those expectations for the most part until Monty figured out that this offense won't cut it

They do seem to hold on to pucks in the D zone too long for my taste. It seems obvious they don't want to just throw it up the wall, passing the problem on to someone else. Would love to see the turnover stats league wide to see if my perception of the Stars as turnover prone is true or all fans think the same thing.

Also seems like they often try one to many passes, passing up an equally open shot in hopes of trying to get a slightly better one.
