In order to vote, shoot me a private message with your rankings. Both regular season and playoff performance is to be considered, but the relative weight of each is up to the individual voter.

You can vote in the following categories (but you don't have to vote in every single one if you don't like, just leave out what you're not interested in).

Best Players (goalies and skaters). Rank 1-10.
Best Forwards. Rank 1-10.
Best Defensemen. Rank 1-10.
Best Goaltenders. Rank 1-5.
Most Sportsmanlike Players. Rank 1-3.
Best Referees. Rank 1-3.
Best Players of your favourite team. Rank 1-5.

PMs only.

Clarification: You can vote in as many or as few categories as you like. That means you can also vote in only one category if you prefer. A ballot ranking your favourite team is already a valid ballot.

Speaking of PMs: 25 ballots have been sent in so far. Here's hoping (significantly) more are to come until Sunday!

While new votes keep coming in, the first batch of ballots is already being processed. I'm counting in batches so that I don't have to re-count the entirety of ballots in case of a mistake.

Last day of voting. So far I have 37 ballots for the league-wide categories, plus 47 ballots for the individual teams (which TBH is not very much in a 31-team league).

You know the feeling when you're halfway through a heap of work and then one wrong click eliminates everything? That's what just happened to me.

Therefore, processing the ballots will take a bit more time. Hope you have patience.

Wow, Evgeni Malkin's underrated. He's still a top-10 forward IMO. Definitely not 15th.

I thought this was the 2018-2019 Best NHL Players. That is what the title says. In 2018/19 was Malkin a top 10 forward? He finished 49th in league scoring. He put up the worst +/- rating on the Penguins. He only lasted one round in the playoffs. I argue no he wasn't. I didn't vote for him at all.

Now if this was titled current best NHL players then I would vote differently.

Why do Lundqvist and Hart have an extra column by their names? What does that represent?
