I got 0 offers on Crosby. I've been marketing him for the past 3 weeks. I put out feelers to a half dozen teams and got no interest. I have a logjam at center (Mackinnon, Point, Backstrom). My team is getting old, so I wanted to move Crosby rather than Karlsson/Marchand (who I can now franchise).

It's probably on par with my Ovechkin trade. I know I lost a bit, but I just haven't gotten the interest I would hope for.

He made me a very fair offer, it just wasn't what I was looking for...but when I turned the conversation to MacKinnon, it got very quiet, very quickly.

I agree that Burns made sense from a positional standpoint.

Sorry, you're both right. Arch offered awhile back but it was more of a hail mary IMO. Your offer was good though Vanilla, just forgot it in all the conversation we've had.

I may have rushed it a bit...I completely forgot Vanilla's offer like an idiot, and it would've got me younger which I'd have preferred, although the player wasn't as valuable for the near future as Burns. I blame that on lack of sleep (sick baby), but I still don't hate the move I made.

Arch's offer was never really close.
