Frost's domination in the poll is definitely not a slight to Myers. I haven't avidly watched Morgan Frost this year but I still caught a good number of games, especially towards the end of the year. There is just nothing to dislike about him. In pure top-end speed, he could be argued as one of the fastest players in our entire organization. Even his acceleration is improving. It was already above average. His passing ability and vision is scary good. He would often make passes that I couldn't see coming, which as an observer with a full view of the ice that shouldn't happen often, but it does. His hands are fantastic and even his defensive zone hockey sense is very good. But, his intelligence shines through above all other attributes. Only on the rarest of occasions does he have an underwhelming shift. He is steady and consistently making positive plays. He belongs in the top tier of drafted center prospects with the likes of Mittelstadt and Necas but, I don't think I'm going to be posting that on the mainboards anytime soon. We'll just let Frost surprise them. Some people worry that SSM was just too good and his numbers are a product of that team, but they aren't. When Katchouk and Timmins were at WJC and Raddysh hadn't been acquired yet Frost was still dominant, maybe even more so. I really hope he makes the team this year.

I went with Myers over Frost just because I think he is ready to start in the NHL now. Also, RHD is big need position.

I've seen a decent amount of the top half and feel fairly confident about that order. The bottom half is mostly guessing based on what I've read or highlights.

So I voted Frost, and I don't think my vote would be different regardless, but this is the first year where I am wondering what the criteria is for top prospect? Closest to NHL ready? Highest ceiling? Most likely to reach the ceiling? Damn we have a lot of good prospects and this is going to be difficult!
