I am happy with Nolan. He will get healthy, rested. Kid has size speed and scored 40 something goals over 100 pts a season ago. Not even worried. What doctor ordered.

Ofc Cal Foote too. There's a lot of d in this range as Tripod said.

Tampa loves them some CHL picks too, so it made sense. His readiness probably was a factor too. Could be in the NHL in 1 year.

Would have taken Hauge instead if you were looking for a big defensemen.

Yeah they both need improved skating. But Foote is just heavy. Hague is more gawky. Hague also is more dynamic and aggressive. He plays a real unusual game for a guy that size and has more upside. But if the footwork doesn't come, I could see Foote being safer in some people's eyes.
