While waiting to watch replay of the finale game between Metro and Pacific on NBCSN, I had almost forgotten how annoying that goal horn was...ugggg...

Most surprising of all was how great the all-star game was. We all know the allstar game before last year's tweaks to the format making it 3 on 3 and having the divisions play one another had been borderline unwatchable and a **** show for well over a decade easy maybe even longer.

Now tho, it actually is exciting and you can see the players actually cared. I still swear I saw some backchecking especially in the Metro vs Pacific finale....lol. Good job by the NHL making the changes necessary to get this all-star game watchable again.

The Final saved the event. I thought we were going to be talking about how even the 3-on-3 got ruined after the first two games, but the last one was definitely worth watching.
