Congratulations to your 2017 AL West champion LA Angels.

That 8th inning is going to propel the Angels and sink the Astros.

The Angels just refuse to die. They just won't go away.

Teams like that can sometimes be hard to kill- see the 2011 Cardinals

You really need to stop this. Houston could go 12-21 the rest of the way, which is about the worst they could possibly play (slightly worse than how they've played in their last 27 games) and Los Angeles would have to go 25-7 in that same stretch to win the division.

So Houston would have to play slightly worse than they have over the last month, their low point and the Angels would have to play so far above their team talent level for over a month to even have a chance to catch them that it's absolutely asinine to even suggest that it's possible.

Andrelton Simmons low key should be in the MVP race

The Angels won this trade by a landslide. Newcomb has amazing stuff but no control over it. Ellis isn't even with the Braves anymore and isn't doing that great in the Cardinals system and Aybar was a complete dud that they couldn't even flip for value.

I admit i was wrong..but Simmons bat started coming to life the last few months of last year, and its carried over...and obviously we all know hes an elite defensive player(maybe the best?)

Rhys Hoskins is the first player to hit a home run in 10 of his first 17 games, and is on pace to become the greatest player in baseball history in a few weeks.

Well there's a lot of ground to cover between "it's impossible" and "it's gonna happen'..I know in sports commentary the other 99% of ground is rarely covered..but the reality is that it *could* happen - crazy collapses do happen from time to time - but it's highly unlikely for it to happen.

50. First since 2013 (Chris Davis). Last NL player was Prince Fielder in 2007.

Royals have 1 turn at the plate left to avoid being shutout in all 3 games in CLE.
