Rhys Hoskins is picking up where Gary Sanchez left off at this time last year

Oh look, another Angels comeback from a big deficit.

It's almost as if it doesn't matter how many runs the pitcher gives up.

And Trout hasn't done much recently, yet it's the others who are stepping up.

He's in an for 0-16 slump and has yet not registered a hit against the Astros, yet they're still coming up big.

And this is why the AL West is not a foregone conclusion.

And they have guys in Scioscia/Pujols who have been there before and know how to win when it counts.

The Dodgers streak of not losing a series is in serious jeopardy. 3-2 Brewers in the 9th. Massive game for MIL with the Cubs and Cards losing...

And given the other teams in the WC race, it's big as well:

Arizona took advantage of a soft week and went 6-1 against the Mets/Giants

Colorado actually won a road series

Marlins are on fire

Brewers actually do the thing!

First team to take a series from the Dodgers since June 5-6-7 (which was right in the middle of games 4-5 of the Stanley Cup Final)

On this road trip, they were also the first team since June 19-20-21 to actually win a series at Coors Field.

And somehow lost 2 of 3 to the Giants

So the last team to win a series against the Dodgers was the Nats? Dang we played them two months ago

Yup. Took the first two- Scherzer had a gem on 6/6 to take the series. LA avoided a sweep with Kershaw/Strasburg living up to the hype on 6/7.

Congratulations to your 2017 AL West champion Houston Astros.

That 8th inning is going to propel the Astros and sink the Angels.

The Astros just refuse to die. They just won't go away.

Teams like that can sometimes be hard to kill- see the 2011 Cardinals

MLB is already looking at Kauffman and Busch next weekend for Mets/Astros. Bricktown ballpark in OKC is also possible
