For all the blown saves the Yankees/Nationals bullpens have had this year, the Cardinal bullpen is getting up there in terms of unreliableness.

Danny Salazar starting for the Indians tonight. Going to be very interesting to see how he does because he's been highly underwhelming since the 2nd half of 2016.

Did well enough since the Jays have managed only one stinking hit thus far.

Josh Donaldson clearly had his talent put in Smoak at this point too.

Baseball fights are so dumb (unless it involves Bryce Harper)

Pirates throwing at the worst hitter in baseball is kinda funny though.

I tell you though, after Rendon threw that easy dp ball into the outfield giving dbacks 1st and 3rd and no outs with goldy coming up I was thinking oh now the infield is gonna cause this bullpen to blow anther save. Doolittle has a lot more guts than some of the other Nats pitchers

davis completely butchering a routine play didn't help either

would've been 5-2 going into the 7th

Nationals are gonna have a big problem tomorrow

Ryan Raburn is going on bereavement list
Chris hiesey going on dl

Leaves only Adam Lind, Brian Goodwin and Bryce Harper as healthy outfielders

Since werth/Taylor are also injured, Nats don't have any other 40 man roster outfielders

Assuming a pitcher doesn't get scratched or the game isn't rained out, all six starting pitchers in the Cardinals/Cubs series have been an all-star at some point (C. Martinez, J. Arrieta, A. Wainwright, J. Lester, M. Wacha and J. Quintana). I wonder when the last time that has happened in a series (and not just a two game series, either).
