Still giving Valiev the benefit of the doubt for one more season. He's still a Leafs top 20 without question.

Looks like we should add Gudbranson and Popisil with their new AHL deals with the Marlies.

Voted Middleton. He is underrated on here. He is really great defensively, can skate for a big man, and the offense improved a bit last year. Could be a future shut down guy for us.

I'd go with someone like Moore, Scott, etc.

I picked Moore because I thought that would make the most out of this vote. He really shouldn't be far behind Timashov, although I thought 15 was too high for Timashov too.

Joshua is probably the best player left.

I like Scott/Lindgren/Valiev/Middleton/Dzierkals/Moore/Kaskisuo/O'Connell

Everyone else; meh.

I like pretty much everyone left up there.

Major dark horse next year will be Ryan McGregor. He was someone I thought the Leafs (or nobody really) would draft this year but could shoot up huge next year. He plays a lot like Connor Brown, and had it not been for injuries, he almost certainly would have done better and would have been taken higher. He was a 2nd/3rd round type prospect before the start of the year.

Went with Scott. Sees a lot of puck, highly touted going into the dubb. Could be a real gem with potential to climb these rankings unlike any other here IMO.

Most likely playing on an AHL team? ... what makes you think Dakota Joshua will even be offered an ELC or an AHL/ECHL contract?

Since being drafted in 2014:

2014-15 (USHL): 55GP - 44P
2015-16 (NCAA): 29GP - 17P
2016-17 (NCAA): 33GP - 35P

Now show me a better prospect left.

(Tip: you can't)

Its not inconceivable that some of our more recent draft picks with have a similar development progression

I voted Scott. I think between him and Woll, we'll have a decent battle in hte future!

Very true, but wouldn't his development path be best case scenario for pretty much everyone left?

Plus his argument was how we're taking guys over guys given ELC's.

Same here, IMO is ahead of Greenway but it's nothing big.

Any combo of Middleton/Moore/Joshua/Chebykin over the next 4 has me happy.

I'll admit I forgot Moore was a college star. For some reason I thought we signed him and he started doing well when Griffith came back (which is true).

GP is a horrible judge of whether or not a player or prospect is good. Roman Polak has played 634GP, and been garbage in just about all of them.

I was going to go with Dzierkels, but went with Bobylev based on the lines at Development Camp instead:

Team Clark

Bobylev - Joshua - Engvall
Dzierkals - Brooks - Piccinich
Maksimovich - McGregor - Chebykin
Vesey - Koskenkorva - Turkulainen

Middleton - Liljegren
Greenway - Rasanen
Gordeev - Mattinen
O'Connell

Scott
Murphy
Team Sittler

Pospisil - Rueschhoff - Tortora
Hirose - Freeman - Tavernier
Coskey - Gustafsson - Kozhevnikov
Nyman - Keating - Andonovski

Duquette - King
Garreffa - Hutton
Smart - Cook
O’Grady

Papirny
Samuel

Plus, Bobylev's chipped front teeth are cool.
