we should have won this game. while none of our shooters scored Lehner again awful in the shootout, first shot beat him and hit the post and Drouin turned him into a yard sale.

While Lehner didn’t look great in the shootout he played a solid game. The first GA there was nothing he could do; the ROR turnover was killer. The second GA was tough, he god his foot over. He shouldn’t be in the position on the PP...

The team played uptempo, forechecked hard, and I loved how active the D was.

Kane was back on his BS shooting from anywhere and everywhere. Evander needs to do a better job at shot selection.

Overall the team played well. They need to hit the net more. I hate the term “moral victory” but the Sabres looked like the better team tonight.
