Not to beat a dead horse but he should still be in College right now. Was signed way too early, his body is clearly not ready for the rigours of an 82 game NHL season.

Another year of college hockey wasn't going to prevent a groin injury. His issue isn't a lack of strength, it's his skating. He's never going to be a player that uses his strength to fend off defenders. He's going to use his elusiveness.

Poor kid. Before he got hurt last night I thought he was playing the best game of his career. To make matters worse he was definitely looking forward to playing in Sweden this week.

Any update for the timeline for Boikov? I'm expecting four months, but just wondering where he's at in the timetable.

It was kind of hard to tell what exactly Joe said, but my understanding of it, sounded like both Compher and Jost could be ready for the games in Sweden, with Jost even being likely to be available for them.

But he kind of jumbled his words a bit like he always does so I'm not exactly sure what he said/meant.

not even sure if kamenev will play in the nhl and Kerfoot barely get 4th line minutes outside of pp

I guess that was the point of the whole trade. To get an instant NHL-ready replacement for Duchene. Otherwise they could have asked for Tolvanen or somebody else. Kamenev is good enough to play...why shouldn't he?

I thought JTC wasn't due back til late December.

That would be amazing if he's back as early as this weekend

he isnt healed its just that he can skate and play with a broken thumb and a hand brace but they should not rush him too much

they even play over kerfoot and greer which are probably better than kamenev how high are you on that kid.

Bednar is an idiot. Everybody knows. Kerfoot deserves to play. Greer is great but will likely always be a bottom six forward. Never been much of a scorer.
