This could be reason to have a sudden death poll of Kase vs Vech.

Just curious, what has Kase done so far that makes people think he's a serious prospect? At age 19-20 he wasn't a standout player in the Czech league, which is maybe above junior hockey but well below the SHL/AHL. Now maybe he'll take a big step up in the SHL this year, but until he does, I just don't get the love.

I mean Bernhardt showed as much in the SHL and he's almost a year younger. Bernhardt also has a better body (i.e. he's a full sized D-man with mobility). And he was just as, or more impressive, in the WJC.

People are just caught up on best-Kase scenario.

A couple of things. First, supposedly he is more skilled than his brother who has played well for Anaheim. Second, he is physically underdeveloped and the belief is as he matures he will score more. Third, when he has played against his peers he has played relatively well.

I'm pretty high on Cooper Marody so I went with him. I don't think Vecch is very good tbh. I do like Leier, Cates and Bernhardt. Sushko, Lycksell, and Kase have some value too.

Very skilled.

Kind of like dismissing a player's age?[/

I have more opinions on the topic but a valid point was made that this is not the forum for further discussion so I'll save anything more for another place and time.
