so what about that strike?

Naquin pitch 1 - that curve is a ball called strike. But you won't remember this.

It feels like you're countering numerous bad calls against the jays for one ball call against the Indians.

Yes, I agree. Bad calls are happening both ways. But far more against the Jays the past few innings.

Is it just bad luck? Almost assuredly. Will it change? Almost assuredly.

But the Jays HAVE been playing against both the umps and the Indians the last few innings.

did Martin just not notice Lindor was dead set on fighting off fastballs, like more than guys usually do against estrada, or was there some master plan there?

Estrada likes to throw a slightly dangerous looking high inside fastball to left handers. That exact moment seemed tailor made for it, with Lindor fouling off outside fastballs he probably puts an inside one in play. Weakly on the ground.

must be something I don't get

do you have actual proof to back this up? cause im watching the same game as you. It's not worth arguing but its annoying coming into this thread and seeing excuses. Umps are not perfect but they're damn near close to it.

Cecil was pretty good once he got back from his injury. He struggled in July, was pretty good in August, then was lights out in September/October.

But all people remember is the time where he sucked, therefore he's awful.

The Jays are not at the 2-18 levels of insanity that the Rangers were in game 2, and the Indians are also not as lucky as the 0-0 Jays in that game either.
