I went with Adam Brooks. 1.70 pp in the Q, the guy is seriously talented and trending up fast. Can't blame anyone for picking the Goat, though.

Hard to place Woll. Goalies are different. But he was picked higher than Brooks.

It's all pretty speculative at this point in the poll.

I find it funny that people think they know more than Hunter.

Hunter selected Woll and Greenway before Brooks . I wonder which order the Leafs management would currently put these three in :sarcasm:

I'm really excited for Greenways potential, but I firmly believe Gauthier is an NHL player by seasons end. Too smart for a smart coach to ignore as a 4th liner.

Usually at this point in the rankings, players are a long shot to even play 1 NHL game .. Yet we've got guys who's played multiple games already.

Depth!

Rinat Valiev is a defenseman, is younger, had more points (and bigger role) on the WJC winning team and had more points than Gauthier as AHL rookies.

Brooks. Has the raw skill and and enough speed and size to potentially stick at the NHL level.

How do people voting for Brooks feel confident enough that he's our next best prospect, when two players (Woll and Greenway) were selected a round before him by PROFESSIONALS just 4 weeks ago.

I'm not trying to sound condescending or anything... genuinely curious.

Brooks has been passed over in 2 drafts previously so they may have thought they could grab him later than Woll and Greenway who are in their first draft as 18 year olds. Kind of a sleeper pick if you will.
Just a thought.

Jesper Lindgren again. Highest upside of those remaining and enough so to be significantly higher if that was the only factor.

Gauthier is a good fit too though. And Brooks.

LV, you need to stop thinking that i'm upset. It was just a genuine question, and not a complaint. I've stated before that the next 7-10 prospects are all similar tier. I'm not pretending that I'm perfect, and that my lists are correct. I just wonder why people question our scouts, who have put thousands of hours into scouting prospects.
