My hopes for round two:

Adam Mascherin
Taylor Raddysh
Dillon Dube

A goal scorer with a mean streak and not afraid to go into the dirty areas; a complimentary player who has proven he can play along side superstars and not look out of place; a relentless fore checking centerman with good hands and vision.

Jeez, what a prospect pool Hextall's putting together. Honestly, I don't remember the club ever having a prospect pool this deep. It's becoming an embarrassment of riches. I love it.

Thank you and no, not in order. Just want some good, high end prospects to fill the system. The more the better. I'm confident Hextall can get another goalie in the third round and he can use the two fourths on defensemen. Perfect haul for me.

Let's not forget about RW Wade Allison in the second. Hexy is on record as saying he wants to get bigger and that "will" is the key factor. Allison at 6"2, 205 skates very well, highly competitive has a good shot, strong as a bull and came on stronger as the year moved along, a later riser. He sounds like a good fit.

Good call on Allison. I'd assume he's on our radar. Some thought he might even go in the 1st.

Any of Katchouk, Morrison, Asplund, Pu, or Laberge would make me quite happy at any point.

Later on, I'd love to see Rasanen, Budik, Wahlgren, Lindstrom, Pitlick, and Filipe.

Neither list is in order.

I don't think it's a hard case to make. Rubtsov could easily have gone a bit higher, and McLeod could have skipped to the Flyers.

The draft fell perfectly for he Flyers, but that doesn't mean the Devils reached. (BOS, on the other hand....)

The Hockey News characterized Bastian and Raddysh as complementary players, and criticized Raddysh's skating. Libor Hajek they say tops out as a #4-5 D-man.

On the other side they characterized Katchouk, Asplund and Grundstrom as high compete/feisty guys. Abramov they praise everything lolz.

Just some observations as I look around - ultimately, I know nothing, Jon Snow.

Once Jost is gone, half of them want to trade down, with a sizable amount wanting Rubtsov, yet wanting no part of McLeod. Then they trade down only 1 spot, pick McLeod, while the Flyers grab a 2nd and get Rubtsov. They were quite happy.
