Can any Ottawa fans tell me how Logan Brown looks?

He played one preseason game (scored one goal) before getting sent back to Windsor.

There really isn't a spot on the team for him yet and I don't think management had any plans for him to be on the team this year anyways. Still pretty raw.

Poolparty is still up in the air. The chance is there but they might give him some top AHL time. Hasn't been disappointing at all. But hasn't blown people away either

Provorov and Konecny should probably be on the Flyers opening night roster.

Wait so Philly also drafted the younger brothers as well, Travis Provorov and Ivan Konecny, in 2016 right?

Back on topic, it is pretty much a sure thing Sergachev gets 9 games, but after that, likely goes back to Windsor so that he can play in the Memorial Cup (Windsor is hosting) and also play in the WJC for Russia.

Yeah ok pal. Best defenceman in the draft was a terrible choice at 5 LOL....

Who would you have picked? Tkachuk? Players like him are a dime a dozen.

No need to retaliate like that.

Olli isn't physically ready. Nothing wrong with getting more time and likely being asked to contribute more offensively since Dvorak turned pro and at least marner and tkachuk should start the year in the NHL and if not stick.

Bogosian made the nhl right out of the draft while pietroangelo okayed two more years of junior. Not always about when you arrive, but about what you do when you get there.

Olli was a safe choice. Hell play soon. Just not physically ready. Could have taken one of the other two more built dmen, but the questions were can they play as well when they are not just physically more advanced than their competition. Time will tell on all these youngsters.

Tkachuk, should be a solid player. But, if you view talent that is similar, best to take the dman ahead.

Terrible pick at #5.

Geez, what brought that on?

18 year old defencemen rarely make the NHL, even top 10 picks.

Juolevi played well in his pre-season outings. He showed very good composure and top flight hockey IQ. A year or two to put on some weight/muscle and to refine his offensive game and he should be good to go. I don't have a problem with this pick at all.

People expect way too much from 18 year old kids. Very few are impact players in the NHL at that age, especially when they come out of juniors.
