Hedman reminds me of Rob Blake.

He's way better than Blake was defensively. Much more of a complete defenseman that can also play a heady game. Blakey was more dominant because of his physical toolset. Bone crushing hitter and shooter that could skate well for a big man with those long strides once he got going.

Blake was a great puck mover that on the Avs thats why I did the compared him to Hedman. Time to get my Hedman jersey.

Bishop was the one that was injured and Crawford was the one struggling covering post to post. Go figure.

I said it last week and Toews kinda burned me for it but now i'll say it again with more confidence. Victor Hedman is currently the best player playing in these playoffs.

Agree completely, and Toews is running close behind.

What I like best about Toews is that he seems to get better as a series progresses. Games 4-7 he just always seems to stand out be it with clutch scoring or impactful 2 way play.

Hedman's play has been a pleasure to watch this year. I was a fan before, but this playoff year has really amped that up.

Hawks playing absolutely lifeless. They think they won the Cup already.

Saad only has 10 points in 21 playoff games this year, but it feels like he's always coming up with a big goal when they need one.

Killorn has been one of the most impressive guys in the playoffs. I knew he was pretty good but didn't think he could be this good.

Jonathan "Captain Dirty" Toews

Tampa has gotten a ton of high, high quality chances over the last minute. I'm amazed that none have gone in.

It feels like Chicago are more worn down than Tampa. They've been running four defenders and now Oduya can't even hold his stick properly.

What will the Hawks need to pay Saad to keep him long-term? Are we looking at $5M/yr or more?

What a finish to the game. I don't really have a horse in the race but that last minute and a half were heart pounding. Unbelievable that Stamkos missed those too chances. A few years ago I would have said that in that position, he would be the best man in the league to bury it.
