How does Hudon compare to Lebeau?
- Same height, same size.
- Skating? Lebeau is probably faster.
- Hockey IQ? Lebeau by a thousand of miles.
- Puck skills? Lebeau AINEC.
- QMJHL? Lebeau scored 94 goals in 1 season.
- AHL? Lebeau torched the AHL with 70 goals and 134 points in his rookie season.

Even Lebeau turned out to be just an average NHLer and had to go to Europe. How much can we hope for a prospect with the same height/size as Lebeau but with less speed, less skills, less hockey IQ...

It's difficult to compare players from todays game vs players from a much different era. What Leabeau did in the Q means nothing now since the Q was a lot different back then. Lebeau certainly had cooler skates though.

imo Dietz has a great combination of mobility and size. I think he has the highest ceiling amongst our d prospects, excluding those from this year's draft and last year's draft. We've got at least 5 solid D prospects:

Dietz
Pateryn
Tinordi
Lernout
Juulsen

I'd say one of Dietz's main problems is his mobility, needs to improve there. Next season is going to be important for him to take a big step forward, he showed good improvement over last season so if he can build off that then great for us.

It's a good thing we add Juulsen to our D prospects since it's become the biggest weakness in the system now that Beaulieu is graduated and Pateryn/Tinordi look like will be joining him. Very concerning about the current group of D prospects. Of course having Subban/Petry locked up long term helps the situation. Going to need one of Beaulieu/Tinordi/Pateryn though to really step up big time over the next 2 years or so.
