With the 2015 NHL Entry Draft in the books and the likelihood of an incredibly quiet July 1st and free agent frenzy for the Bergevin led Habs.. we might as well begin to entertain ourselves with our prospect rankings.
I'm going with HF's definition of a prospect.. as a result only Nathan Beaulieu has graduated from last years list. Maxim Trunev is still listed but I'm done with him, he's never coming over. Josiah Didier was not signed to an ELC so he's exempt as well.
I just put the last junior/developmental league team they played on for a large amount of time as their team of origin.

Don't forget to vote for a player to add to the poll.
Matt Bradley, C/LW, Medicine Hat Tigers.
Simon Bourque, D, Rimouski Oceanique.
Jeremiah Addison, LW/RW, Ottawa 67s.
Hayden Hawkey, G, Omaha Lancers.
Joonas Nattinen, C, JYP.
Gabriel Dumont, C, Hamilton Bulldogs.
Jake Evans, RW, University of Notre Dame.
Stefan Fournier, RW, Hamilton Bulldogs.
Dalton Thrower, D, Brampton Beast.
Morgan Ellis, D, Wheeling Nailers.
Nikolas Koberstein, D, Bloomington Thunder.
Colin Sullivan, D, Miami University.
Mark MacMillan, LW, University of North Dakota.
Connor Crisp, LW, Hamilton Bulldogs.

1. Nikita Scherbak, RW, Everett Silvertips (75% of the vote).
2. Mike McCarron, RW/C, Oshawa Generals (72.39% of the vote).

Added Daniel Audette, C, Sherbrooke Phoenix to the poll.

Juulsen

I'll go with Juulsen, just because if we traded Hudon, we couldn't get a first round pick. So hopefully Timmins knew what he was doing with this year's first round pick. Hudon will be next on my list.

Man, there is a SIGNIFICANT dropoff after McCarron, wow.

Had the exact same reaction.

I voted JDLR, not that I think he's the most skilled out of the bunch, but a combination of package and NHL readiness.

Looking at the list I might not even vote Tinordi in the top 5.

Juulsen isn't a drop off from McCarron. McCarron will be a third line guy and Juulsen will be a mid pairing guy. I wouldn't call that a drop off?

When I vote in these polls, I vote for who I think will be the best player.

I'll go with Juulsen for #3.

Why is Jacob De La Rose on the list? He's made the team and won't be sent down anymore. To me, a prospect is someone who hasn't made the team.

By definition, JDRL is ahead of everyone in management's eye because they already chose him to play on the team!!

Is Tinordi really that bad?

I'm thinking so.. Never was a fan of trading up for him in the first place.

He's on the list because he hasn't played the requisite amount of regular season games and he's only 19. I didn't want to take him off the list only for him to develop all year in the AHL this season and put him back next year.

I made my calls on Tinordi, Pateryn and DLR based on the HFs prospect pool depth page.

I wouldn't necessarily say that.. DLR, Hudon, Lehkonen, Andrighetto, Reway, Condon, Fucale, Juulsen are still legit guys.

I like all the prospects you listed and of them am only really skeptical that Reway and Fucale will make the NHL, but they all have their work cut out for them. Not really an exciting group even if Hudon and Condon are trending in the right direction.
