I'm still rather new to NCAA hockey but isn't it kind of unfair that Boston College makes it in over Mass-Lowel?

Anyway for my fellow Canadians TSN will be broadcasting all the games the regionals this year along with the Frozen Four. :handclap:

I think Miami takes it home. They looked damn good in Minneapolis last weekend. Of course I want UND but just don't see it happening. Hope I'm wrong.

Miami is my fall back pick. They did finish strong and will be revenge motivated if they meet BU.

If there is one good thing about now having 53 TSN stations it's that us Canadians can finally watch the NCAA tournament. In past years it was kind of hit or miss whether they would broadcast it....and if they did it was usually just the Final....but this year almost every game of the tournament will be shown. Should be a good weekend of hockey.

Entertaining win by BU.

Michigan Tech up late on St. Cloud State and Duluth smacked Minnesota around to take a 3-0 lead after one.

Great 1st game going to OT; a Yale win would have busted 99.2% of everyone's bracket. St. Cloud busted mine. Should've known to pick them by their strong finish. Not surprised UMD handled Minny as the Big 10 was lousy this year. NoDak did what everyone expected them to do. If they can avoid the meltdowns they've had in previous years they should be in the finals.

I don't have a dog in this fight but this year's tourney is going to be fun to watch. As always: 'It's a great day for hockey'!

With Barry Melrose and John Buccigross doing the broadcasting of these NCAA hockey tourney games for ESPN, is it wrong to assume they are the likely broadcasting crew for the World Cup of Hockey?

Denver advances, improving the NCHC to a still perfect 4-0 so far.

I'd be good with that.

Unfortunately. They belong in a studio. Can't ESPN just borrow Gary Thorne for a bit? I'm sure Bill Clement could be available...no idea what he's doing currently.
