Imagine the epic cycle of the Sedins and Nash. Sedins and Zucc. People said it is impossible to have the puck in the opponents end the entire game, but I think those two lines could make it happen.

Stepan and/or Nash for the Sedins? Ugh; a horrid trade for the Rangers, traded youth for old veterans. When did Sather become the Ranger GM again? They may as well give Glass a 10 year contract extension to keep AV happy. Who replaces Nash's 40 something goals?

I hope this is just an old rumour. The Sedins have been great players, but I don't give up Stepan's youth for them. Production has/will decline in short order.

It would definitely give them the best top-3 centers, possibly the best center ice combination in the league for the next few years.

Not sure if it was only me, but Stamkos came from me. I would feel better about giving him 10+ per year then giving Stepan over 7. I don't know if it's possible but maybe if Stammer says he's not going to sign with TB, we could trade for him. Stepan + to start. Or, wait for him to become a free agent, sign him and then trade Steps/Brass top fill holes.
