Hollands hockey IQ and his physical condition is an issue and may in fact be better suited as a winger with less responsibilities and reads.

His conditioning would have improved but not a lot you can do in the read and react area if the critical thinking is not there.

an nhl C needs very good skating, puck handling, and passing skills...so holland has none of that

if u wanna be a wing, u at least need a good shot and help put puck in net...ya hollands shot is horrible and he cant finish for crap

if u cant do these things, then u gotta be like winnik/leo and hustle and work and grind, work the boards, do dirty things, and play hard, play physical...well none of this for holland either

so ya, it makes sense that he sucks and doesnt have a role even on a crappy nhl team
