It would be great if Vorobyov was invited to play for Russia in the exhibition games starting August 3rd in Calgary vs Canada and the Czech's, so we could check him out on the stream Hockey Canada provides. To my knowledge they haven't released a roster yet for those games. I'd assume he has a good chance to be on the roster, along with Provorov and Fazleev.

Don't know how official that is. The big names aren't on there. Vorobyov played on a line with Guryanov at the U18s and WJAC so that is a good sign that they think highly of him. Russia usually has one of the oldest rosters in the tournament each year, so he's probably still a longshot to make the U20 team in December, but he should get a look in camp I would think. Fazleev was there last year and then didn't even get picked for the Super Series. Also of note, this is Fedotov's last year of eligibility. Doesn't look like he's ever represented Russia at any major tournaments, so he's probably a long shot as well.
