Are the shots really 26 to 8 after 2 periods? That's bad even for Lefebvre system.

Sorry this has nothing to do about system. The baby Habs are a very young team playing back to back game against a bigger and more mature Bridgeport team.

The positives is Tokarski looks like he did 2 years ago :handclap:

too bad for Tok, bad coverage leads to a goal after he was having a heck of a game.

1-1 now, Barberio from Ellis, Dumont

2-1 now, Tok's gona want that one back, he was really good all game but that one he should of had.

Isn't the AHL a league where pretty every weekend involves a back to back?

Looks like they woke up in the 3rd. ;)

yes and many back to back to back games. Although this year the IceCaps only have 2 back to back to back series all season, that's way down from past years in Hamilton.

McCarron from Thomas, Eisenschmid

What a play by Thomas, showed some hard work to get the puck in what should have ended the game and a nice redirect by McCarron. Congrats to Eisenschmid on his first AHL point.

Yes back to back almost every weekend but for a young inexperienced team this does play a facter....Just ask any coach.
Bridgeport has more veternes and will handle these game better just from experience.

Still has nothing to do with system

He is the only reason they got a point

...but he had occasions to shut this down and couldn't...not sure why this is untrue. Yes, played great during the game....but he had occasions to shut this down. Caps did score a few goals during the shootout.

Too bad they lose the game but they sure made a game out of it when they looked dead in the water.
Clutch goals and Tokarski keeping them in the game will be great experience for the team.
