Was I the only one that watched the UC Irvine/Central Florida game last night (ESPN3)? Watching Tacko Fall (yes, that's his real name) and Mamadou N'Diaye play against each other (they're both 7'6) was pretty funny.

Maryland came back to barely beat Rider at home. Georgetown beat Wisconsin at The Garden. Penn State lost to Duquesne by 26. Ohio State lost to Texas-Arlington at home. Northwestern is losing to Columbia at the half.

Not a good day for the Big Ten...

Just picked up huge recruits for next year too. Laranega is a top 5 coach.

If only The U could strike gold with their next football coach hire as they did when they hired Larannega.

They absolutely took a very quality Utah team to the woodshed last night, as well as Miss. State the night before. Will be interesting to see how they do against a very good Butler team Sunday. But yeah, this year's U could very well be as good if not better than that #2 seed team of 3 years ago.
