Statsny is 1.5 million more a year and two years less! That's a much better contract.

The overreactions here are unreal. He made a bad move on this one, but I still have faith in the overall plan. He's nowhere near done signing players and I have to believe he's going to make some trades. While I'm not happy about the deal, I'm excited to see where this team is at the start of the season.

And it's not the money, that we have tons. It's the term that sucks. I was hoping for a 3 year deal, max 4. The term makes this a really, really risky deal for Tallon.
