If EJ really is out for 2-3 more weeks, they should really shut him down.

Tell him to go golfing... Or better to not go golfing but do anything else he wants.

EJ hasn't been exactly stellar after coming back from injury IIRC and I don't want him to end the season struggling.

We won't have anything to play for anyways in 3 weeks.

Yea, I think the lack of game shape conditioning affects his mobility as a big man when he comes back from injury, which really affects his game.

Is this for real? Dammit! I am going to the game tomorrow and was hoping to see him play for the first time live. Looks like I get to see Briere instead...

Didn't Roy mention that MacK's foot has been bothering him before? Wonder if it's been an ongoing issue and just wasn't getting any better. Sucks because MacK was starting to find his game again. Hopefully we see Hishon play up with some offensive players now.

Yep... 6-8 weeks means the season. It must have happened when he blocked that shot. Seemingly he was playing through it.

So he's been playing on a fracture foot for a while if it was against Tampa, like Roy said. And he scored a few goals doing so.

It makes sense to try Hishon now in the top 9. What else is there to do? If they move McLeod up that will be depressing.

Maybe Berra can try and earn his keep as a winger?

Hopefully hishon gets tried out on the wing but who knows what Roy plans to do.

Lol at you guys saying thats the season. Seasons been over for a few weeks now folks. Sucks to see Mack get injured though as he was starting to turn the corner. Was hoping he could hit 20 goals to finish out the season. Lets see wat midget they bring up from LE now I guess. Also hope this gets Hishon up in the top 9 somewhere

I will be interested to see if there is some sort of lineup shakeup or if Briere just gets slotted into MacK's spot for a couple shifts until Roy remembers he hates him then moves Hishon up.

I now fully expect Borna Rendulic to make a surprise return. Think wrestling surprise return where everyone is shocked and no one knows what to do, because the Croatian Sensation is back...but honestly, I expect Cliché to get bumped up.

Ugh... One of the few things I enjoyed about this post-deadline non-playoff team was watching the young guys and hoping for next year.

Injuries are becoming a valid excuse for missing the playoffs.
