Why are so many people talking about trading Bennett? Especially for Semin. We could easily get Semin for futures by trading Martin to another team and using futures to get Semin. We don't need to include BB, nor should we.

I just think we really have to go for it this year. We have a ton of guys on cheap 1 year contracts and if we have to move the often injured Bennett to get a guy like Semin (big cap hit but signed till 2018) I say go for it.

Of course one would prefer to keep the small winger depth we have but if BB or KK are holding up any potential deal, i wouldn't hesitate to pull that trigger. Depending on the return.

Yeah, Malkin could benefit from getting a sniper with a sick release back. I would not mind a McGinn-Malkin-Semin line, i just dunno how to work it cap wise.
