If Foligno shot the puck more, I think his numbers would go up. He just doesn't take that many shots for whatever reason ... nothing wrong with that though. He's an effective player.

Jackets get a home-ice advantage matchup with Philly and win their first-ever playoff round but lose to the Pens in seven in a series for the ages. Just my gut feel for how it ends up this year.

1)Thanks to 1-2 rookie forwards playing so well, the Jackets move a veteran forward for a defenseman.
2)JMFJ makes the All-Star game
3)Nobody scores 30 goals, but 6 guys score at least 20

Columbus loses the season series to Carolina, but still has home ice in the first round of the playoffs.

Two of Rychel/Wennberg/Hjalmarsson/D'Amigo/Gibbons/Chaput come into camp guns blazing and make the team, leading to Letestu starting the season in the press box.

Horton plays at least 70 games with 25 goals and 50 points.

His shot is terrible, thats why. It's like passing to the goalie.

He had a 16.9 shooting pct last year. Kind of disputes his shot is terrible thesis, unless you consider all the "shots" that aren't shots because they go wide.

No, he doesn't shoot nearly as often because he doesn't have a heavy enough shot that will create rebounds and secondary opportunities. So he keeps the play alive til he can get better scoring chances, which he can do because he's a ****ing wizard. So he gets a higher shooting percentage despite having a weaker shot.

1. Will Weber makes his NHL debut
2. Michael Chaput makes the team out of camp
3. We engage in a full line brawl against the Rangers, Flyers, or Pens
4. Three or more Jackets receive suspensions during the season
5. A current free agent is invited to camp and makes the team.
6. One of the main acquisitions from the summer of 2012 gets traded.

The Jackets lose to the Lightning in the ECF.
Jenner breaks 20 G.
JMFJ and Dubi go bash brothers on Crosby during the playoffs.
The Rangers don't make the playoffs.

Some how, the NHL figures out how to the away the All-Star from Columbus in December, gives it to Toronto and the city riots when Horton is named MVP over Kessel

I think the saddest part about reading through this thread again is seeing how much hope pretty much all of us had for Nathan Horton this season.. And, sadly his NHL career is probably done.
